The ShopEdge Mobile Application is a native Android application that targets tablets and mobile phones specific to Android. It integrates seamlessly with the device and makes use of the camera for taking pictures, videos, barcode scanning use, and other Android platform feastures such as the notification system.

The application is feature rich, and includes the following functionality:

  • Admin - controlling security permissions and groups.
  • Inventory - scanning, moving, printing, and creating inventory tags including master tags.
  • Production - viewing real-time workcenter activity including machine status, viewing workcenter schedules, and for operator login and production reporting and inventory control.
  • Quality - creating and editing rejects, recording quality timecards, and processing held material.
  • Receiving - viewing receipt history, viewing open purchase orders, and completing purchase order receipts.
  • Shipping - viewing open orders, viewing and creating packing slips and pick lists, and for picking inventory tags to packing slips.
  • Tooling and Equipment - viewing open work orders, reporting tooling and equipment timecards against work orders, and consuming MRO items.
