Plant Operations¶
Plant Operations allows users to view, add, edit, or delete Plant Operation Types in the ShopEdge system. Plant Operations are assigned to Operations that are part of a Manufacture Routing. To view all available Plant Operations in the system, navigate to tab and click on the icon. The Plant Operations screen will be displayed.
Users will be able to view the Type, Operation, and Description of each available Plant Operation in the system.
Adding a New Plant Operation¶
To add a new Plant Operation, navigate to tab and click on the icon. The Plant Operations screen will be displayed.
Click on the button located at the bottom of the screen. A new row will appear where users can fill in the necessary fields using the drop-down menus and textboxes provided.
Make sure to save your changes before exiting the screen.
Editing a Plant Operation¶
To edit a Plant Operation, navigate to tab and click on the icon. The Plant Operations screen will be displayed.
Locate the Operation Type that you wish to edit and make the necessary changes using the drop-down menus and textboxes.
Make sure to save your changes before exiting the screen.
Deleting a Plant Operation¶
To delete a Plant Operation, navigate to tab and click on the icon. The Plant Operations screen will be displayed.
Locate the Plant Operation that you wish to delete and highlight the appropriate row. Use your Delete key and when the system prompts you, select Yes.
The selected Plant Operation will be deleted. Make sure to save your changes before exiting the screen.
Note
Users will not be able to delete a Plant Operation that is assigned to a Manufacture Routing. A window will appear indicating that the Operation cannot be deleted.
